I am a PhD candidate in computer science at Iowa State University located on one of the best campuses in the US. My research interests majorly include algorithm design, discrete mathematics (graph theory in particular), computational theory, and computational biology. Most of my work is focused on problems in computational evolutionary biology and phylogenetics. This is the field where algorithm design, graph theory, as well as statistics and many other areas come together to often produce beautiful theoretical foundations for biologically important questions. My major advisor is Prof. Oliver Eulenstein.
I am currently on the job market for an academic position.
